Runaround

I made it back to Mexico just in time to head to Puebla, Puebla for the day. It was nice to have a panel go smoothly, but mostly it was fun to get to see a new city. I didn't snap any new pics, but have a new place on my list, at least.

Growing up

After the beach, I made a quick stop through MD for my cousin's wedding. It's hard to believe she's all grown up. Here's a pic of us girls (bride's maid and bride) at the rehearsal and again at the wedding (minus bride):

Sweet Release

Finally some R & R. Here's a quick peak at the sunset over Puerto Vallarta (view from Ah Caramba). It was a quick 4 days with Deepak, Roopa, and Yadira, but did me a lot of good. I got my first-ever professional massage out of it and my first run-ins with guacamole boys. Aside from the getting sick part of the trip, I highly recommend it.

Sigh

I'm back from an exhausting whirlwind trip to Oaxaca only to have a few days before my next two trips. Despite all that, though, I've seriously been considering taking a 12 hour trip for the weekend. Maybe traveling's just too much a part of my 'routine' now. I just finally managed to talk myself out of it and into wrapping everything up and getting rested before weds' trip. That is, of course, assuming all goes well with the next selection panel (wednesday night). Wish me luck.

ps. Oaxaca's still as beautiful as ever (at least it seemed so through car windows), just hot and humid at the moment.

Avanzando

Today was our first Selection Panel! We have a few more coming up over the next few weeks. That means things are picking up for Avancemos Mexico (and me). Unfortunately, it has a way with interfering with personal life. Am hoping to make it to the beach sometime before my trip to DC (May 24-29). Stay tuned....
