Time Management
So, I'm officially 25 and I'm told I should be hitting a quarter life crisis anytime now. It hasn't hit yet (more than the usual worrying), but I figured I'd take some time to think about some questions spurred by the stress I've seen in my friends. I don't have any answers, but I thought I'd just lay them out there.
1. Do I need to decide now what I want to do with my life?
2. Do I need to be married with kids in the next 5 years? If so, do I need to start now?
3. Should I be unhappy in my job? Should I be making enough money to save up now?
4. Should I want to go back to grad school immediately? Do I need to know exactly what I want to get out of it, before I go?
5. Are these the best times of my life?
I don't particularly feel like I need to stress about any of the above, since all of my friends here are older and are doing just fine (as much worrying at I am, but fine). Give me a little time, though, and we'll see.

i suppose that in my own quarter-life crisis, the thing that sounds most true to me is not to try to ask questions like "what do i want to do with my life" or "are these the best times of my life," but rather, "what do i want to do with my life NOW," and "how can i make the current time the best that it can be?" not that those are easy questions either, but it's my belief that one's idea of what one's purpose in life is evolves as time goes on, and that when it's time for it to change, it will, and you'll be ready for it as long as you're mind and heart are open.
oh, and be careful when you go to the philippines; i heard that they just declared martial law there a couple days ago.
