Poco a Poco
I'm here in Mexico, safe and sound, though everything takes some getting used to.
My Spanish is improving daily, but I'm still working on the altitude effects. An apartment and friends are in the works. We're moving offices next week and I should have a place in Polanco by the end of the month and I'll hopefully have some friends to invite over by the end of November. Phone and other such logistics should come together by early next week.
Here's what's in store next:
October 14-15 Monterry
October 20 VMALA party in Mexico City (not Cancun) - CANCELLED
November 1 Move into new apartment!
November 7-19 Delhi meeting and DC stopover
(GMAT and applications somewhere in here)
November 24-29 Fellow meeting in Montevideo, Uruguay
December 1st Move into new office
December 21 - January 12 Home for the holidays (some work in DC)
As you can see, I'm whittling down my crazy travel schedule so I have time to get settled. There's lots to do still, but I'm doing well and, though I miss home, I think I'll settle in soon.
As I relearn everything, I will keep you posted. For now, here's a quick *hug*
